New Book on the Art of John Anthony Miller in the works

I have started a new book which will feature all the miniature work and some history behind each piece and some enlargements of some pieces as well. It is planned to be in a horizontal 8 x 10 hardback format with a dust jacket and will be a limited edition, but not sure at this date of the limitation number. It will show my work in color and will have comments from notable people who have either contributed to the finalization or marketing of my work in some way. Basically, it will cover a period of the early 1980's until the 2000's. My suspician is that more than one book will be produced over time. My goal is to produce an affordable quality book which will be collectible and also be a reference work for the many "fans" out there.

I have been wanting, for many years,  to present to the public some kind of coherant presentation of my work, and now is the time. Presented here is a short clip of the great author Ray Bradbury's comment on the art of John Anthony Miller. This clip was taken by Sifu Manuel Rodriguez from the Red Dragon Academy of Kung Fu and Classical Guitar Academy in Ventura, CA, who was there at the time in Ray Bradbury's home. Sifu Rodrigues also asked the questions. I believe it was taken in Sept. 2011.

I had inspiration to make a book of my art also from the co-author of LOGAN'S RUN, George Clayton Johnson.  -John Anthony Miller, Nov. 2011.

I may be biased but I'm thrilled that Johnny has finally decided to publish his own work. Such extraordinary art should be made available to everyone and not kept under wraps. I hope you all appreciate this major talent. Katie

Thank you Lady Katie! Long overdue! Definitely, the artwork is different from anything else on this planet, at least that is what I have heard since about 1979! Good! We go forward! Love, Johnny
